At last nights full council meeting (28 January 29, 2019) it was appalling to witness Sutton Conservatives trying to scrap a parking consultation, currently focussing on a northern part of the borough, and which will come to Wallington in May. Residents’ feedback is crucial for shaping proposals, even if the council may not be able to solve every issue.
An especially low point was Conservative Councillor Tony Shields joking about a Liberal Democrat councillor being on “suicide watch”. Shameful.
