Today, we just can’t wait to share with you a heartwarming experience we had as Wallington North Councillors during the King’s Coronation weekend. Our amazing community came together to celebrate the momentous occasion with lively street parties, and we were lucky enough to join in on the fun!

You should have seen the atmosphere in Wallington North during the King’s Coronation weekend – it was absolutely magical! The streets were adorned with colourful decorations and bunting, as neighbours young and old gathered to share in the joyous occasion. Laughter and music filled the air, with children playing games and adults catching up over cups of tea and delicious homemade treats.

These street parties were such a beautiful showcase of the incredible community spirit of Wallington North. Neighbours who may not have had the chance to interact previously now had the opportunity to bond and create lasting connections. It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of fostering strong relationships within our communities. After all, a united community is a strong community!

We’d like to give a massive shout-out to the dedicated volunteers and organisers who worked tirelessly to make these events possible. Their hard work and passion for the community shone through in every detail, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
